The DRB Chairing Workshop is an intensive program designed to address the issues involved in chairing DRBs and is for practitioners who are interested in, or are currently serving, as DRB Chairs. It includes lecture and engaging discussion of issues that arise for Chairs of DRBs. It is required that participants have taken the Dispute Review Board Administration and Practice Workshop prior to attending this one.
This course, updated for 2025, is developed based on the Dispute Review Board Manual, A Guide to Best Practices and Procedures, the DRBF's DRBF Model Documents, and the DRBF Code of Ethical Conduct. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance, which can be submitted to appointing parties. [note: Florida Department of Transportation cites those members who have completed this training on their published list of DRB candidates.]
