COVID Event Host Disclaimer

Due to the continuing uncertainty related to the Coronovirus outbreak (COVID-19), the DRBF is taking extra precautions with the health and well-being of every guest attending our Events.

You agree that by registering for one of the DRBFs in-person events, you:

• Acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronovirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC, or other governing health authorities, continue to recommend practicing social distancing;
• You acknowledge there are preventative measures in place to reduce the spread of Coronovirus/COVID-19, including, but not limited to, frequent hand washing and/or hand sanitizing and wearing face masks;
• There is no guarantee that you will not become infected with Coronovirus/COVID-19 and understand the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronovirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself or others, including, but not limited to, event staff, and other event guests;
• You acknowledge that you have voluntarily attended the event and acknowledge that you are increasing your risk of exposure to Coronovirus/COVID-19;
• You will comply with procedures to reduce the spread of Coronovirus/COVID-19 while attending the Event.

By agreeing to these terms, you will release and hold harmless the DRBF and its staff, and any other event organizers ("Hosts"), and waive on behalf of yourself, your heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to yourself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the Hosts, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with the Event. You understand that by agreeing to these terms, that this release discharges the Hosts from any liability or claim that you, your heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the Hosts with respect to bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from the Hosts. I agree to share my vaccination status with the Hosts for the purposes of verification only, if required.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Event attendees and guests will be asked to wear masks indoors and maintain social distancing in accordance with health official guidelines, IF REQUIRED. The meeting rooms will be set up to allow for ample social distancing, and, when possible, breaks and meals will be hosted outside.

Conference materials will be delivered electronically to minimize contact.

The Event venue has been carefully selected and will be following all local regulations. It is each person’s responsibility to check relevant government travel recommendations, regulations and guidelines for your personal itinerary and to secure the necessary paperwork, testing and/or vaccinations required for travel to and from your destination(s).
